I recieved a package today for a house up my street. I was more than happy to hand deliver it after work. I knew the house, and knew it had age. A quick chat with the owner, and I found out the house was 1890, and "go knock yourself out" metal detecting. I will be going back.... I found a bunch of wheats(14) with the oldest being 1919. I found 1 Indian Head dated 1907 and in above average shape. I found 1 no date Buffalo, and a some clad. One random cool find is a tiny red painted ship. Reminds me of the ship in the Monopoly game, but it would have to be from a very early version. The find of the day is a 1913 Barber Dime. Significant b/c it is a Barber(I don't find many of them) and it is exactly my 50th Silver Dime this year. You can read every letter in LIBERTY! There is a little cheating, b/c I started metal detecting in late November, but really didn't start finding things until 2008. I only pictured the dime, but could take a group shot if anyone cares.

HAPPY 50th, what a Great Birthday Gift to yourself. Look what a little determination does. It gives
you a really nice site to hunt. In this hobby, permission is the key to great finds.

Congrats,

HH, Ringfinder

Jon, congrats to you. You are really doing it up with that machine. I was just talking to RD and I just have to pick up a Minelab. I am going to get us in to that place in Wyoming.

Roger,

Your wish is my command. Threw in the buff and the Indian(It looks better than pic leads you to believe. Ship is painted red and heavy for its size. I am not sure what it is made from, but nickel would be my guess. It registered very close to a nickel on my machine, hence the reason I dug it. Coins should give scale. I actually really like it, and put it on my keeper shelf.
Regards,
jon.
