I used to live next door to his nephew back in 1981 in Glendale, Arizona. Unfortunately he had inherited Ira's thirst for "fire water". I remember we got lit up pretty severely a few times. I love this song and the Man in Black. It's a sad testimony of Ira Hayes. I also enjoyed that movie referenced here in the video. One can only hope he is at peace now. BTW, you can send me a sample tin of your delicacies any time you want.
