Hang yanks! It's starting to get up there.

I know it's tough now folks. But, just remember, we are in March. Much better than being at the beginning
of all this mess. Spring's coming.

I managed a bit of a hunt on a field that I know catches a lot of whatever sun there might be. As
long as I stayed to certain areas, I could actually do a bit of digging.

So, for all those who can't just yet. Enjoy my meager finds today. You'll be out there soon.

Blingie & Fishy were awake and awaiting me at the door! ;)

Hang on folks! It's beginning to break.

Ya know what? Honestly, I sometimes think that these modern day kids only sled down hills on their Wii.

I had been looking to see where people were sledding this winter and I don't think I saw but a handful thru the whole winter.

Anyway, it looks like the ground has turned properly. These finds came from a school I've covered many times.

Gonna be a good year.

Ahhhh! Finds! From actual ground! Yes!!!

Congrats! Nice finds for sure! And those two are happy! You scored!
I like the entire key ring, but as you say "someone" had a very bad day, hopefully they had back up.

Well, I hope all those that wanted the all time snow record broken are satisfied. 108 point something inches, that would be 9 FEET of snow this winter! Now can we please set an all time speed record for snow disappearing?

I did try sticking my probe in the ground yesterday and the ground laughed at me! There is hope however! We will have above freezing day temps all week and some rain. Still have to get thru April before we are probably done with the snow.
As for snow free dig able ground, still taking bets on that one. So.....snow IS dig able even if the ground is not. Sometimes you just got'a do what ya got'a do! DIG !!!!!!!

I hope they had backups! There was two sets of car keys, some house keys, a padlock or two and even a machine key like for a coke machine.

I kind of think you might not want to trade all that snow in for melt, not all at once anyway.

As far as digging? Just do something we sort of forget about, surface hunt. There are lots of fresh drops that are just waiting to be picked up. Also
check where they're piling the snow up. Something might fall out around the edges.

It's coming, I promise!

Thanks!

Almost all the snow is gone here, but ground is still frozen maybe next weekend good to see ya got some diggen in HH...

I was looking at one of those "snow farms" that the plowed snow is dumped in, as it melts you start seeing all the trash that's in it....it's going to be a challenge getting the goodies, I will need a much larger trash pouch...a trash truck maybe!

No not melting all at once just vanishing it somewhere else!
I guess the guy has new locks by now!

I am looking, head down, while walking, have found a few Lincoln's, a few dimes, etc. No bling yet.

Our snow is down about half way but there is still sooo much of it! Then just to add insult to injury it had to snow almost 3" yesterday! Like we need that!
Excuse me....deep breaths, deep breaths....ok, better now.
