hang on to your copper

I wonder if #2 Insulated Copper will rise in price as well? It's $1.15 a lb where I am... last winter it was pushing almost $2.00 a lb.

With the strikes in the copper mines and short supply it will rise. My prediction is $3.75 to $4.00 a pound with the scrapyard buying #1 for about $3.00-$3.30 a pound

WOW!
I wont melt them, but I am saving any copper pennies I find.

Scrap #1 copper is $2.40 per pound here in Ohio now. I have a bunch to strip, I generally wait till winter to strip the small stuff, When I have less to do.
