I got one of these last year and either Gypsy or Mona Lisa ID'd it as a 1920's era plow impement of some type.

A neat find. I find them too, & still see them pretty regularly on farm equipment. It's part of farming implements...I see them as the "teeth" from the mowing machinery...better known as the sickle-bar mower.
