Handle thingy?

I dug this heavy metal piece up today in the farm woods. Any idea what it could be?
It was busted off at the thin end.

I got one of these last year and either Gypsy or Mona Lisa ID'd it as a 1920's era plow impement of some type.

Dang it. I thought it was part of a cyclops gingerbread man.

A neat find. I find them too, & still see them pretty regularly on farm equipment. It's part of farming implements...I see them as the "teeth" from the mowing machinery...better known as the sickle-bar mower.

It's a guide off an old tractor mowing bar for cutting hay...It bolts to a bar and the main blade moves between it
