Hi, I did not realize there was a marble sub-forum... glad to see that there is one.

-Found 14 inch down on top of a Civil War Era Chest with a metal lid (that was 2 feet down).
-Found a short distance away from several Slave Huts.
-Hand Carved

Keep it with what you found. If it is an item you end up selling you will find proving the dating near impossible. Clay marbles are still made today and sold on ebay as "vintage"
