I finally got an E-TRAC and I really don't want to get the hand grip foam all muddy. I've come up with a number of ideas on how to protect it, but I would rather hear how some of the more experienced guys already do it. So, if you protect your hand grip foam, please reply below with how you do it. Thanks!

Saran Wrap. Quick and easy.

I just use Saran wrap and scotch tape. Works great in the mud and dirt.

Mud ain't gonna hurt it. Cleans off real easy.

The hand wraps for Tennis racket works real good and they are cheap....

I use electrical tape and Saran wrap on my F75, when I hunt in the mud.

Thanks for all the suggestions!

Dirt fishin and you don't want your dirt fishin rod to get dirty???

Mine gets dirty alright, I only wrap the handle when it is super muddy.

I use a black elastic bandage that I just wrap a couple of times around the foam grip. A roll is cheap (about a buck on eBay or a couple of dollars at Target), they are self adhesive so you don't need tape, and are fairly durable so you don't have to change it too often. It does a real good job of keeping dirt from tearing up the grip and keeping it clean.

Go to Pet Smart and get you some vet wrap. Comes in all kinds of colors, even camo! Goes on easy, stays on, and comes off easy. When it starts to get dirty just pull it off and replace it.
