Myself and hiknmtns went out this morning looking for an old mountain pass area that is no longer used. We ended up finding it or another place similar... Not sure I WAS LOST.
I noticed some broken pottery on the hillside so we took out the machines and we started finding coins, Old coins at that! The dates range from the 1650s -late 1800s with two Japanese WW2 coins also.
My best find for the day was a metal pipe that dates to the late 1800s.
Nice for the display case. Lots of fun and our take was 40 coins, a pipe and a tail piece of a mortar round.
Can't wait till next weekend.

Thanks for looking and HH.

Seems very cool, I'm not familiar with Korean coins. Must of been quite an adventure. What metal are they made of.

Congrats on your coin haul! Fun things happen when you get lost!

Thats alot of coins! But all pierced..... :angel9: Very cool, you can add coins from all over the world to your collection!

1650!!! holy cow!! i didnt even know they had coins back then! LOL

Antique Chinese artifacts are hard to come by. China has strict export laws on their antiques, so its hard to find genuine Chinese artifacts.
Nice finds !!
Keep @ it and HH !!
