Hi, My Guess Is It Was A Hook To Hang Pots And Pans.. The Other Piece Looks Like Part Of A Cast Iron Stove . Posting The Size Would Of Been Helpful...Thanks

the first one is hand forged, I think it's a door nail, way back when the nails were used to hang doors, the nails were driven through and then folded over to prevent them from coming out

yes, they are older, hand forged were inserted in a whole in an anvil, cutoff, and then struck with a hammer to make the head, newer ones were made by machine (IE square flat heads)
