Hi everyone,
I have this green plate and I noticed something interesting about it. When I shine a flashlight on it, it glows with a yellow light, as you can see in the photo.
It feels heavy (around 700 grams) and you can scratch it with a needle, leaving a visible mark.
It looks hand-carved, with floral and bird designs on it.
I’m curious to know what kind of material it is, and if it has any cultural or historical value. Any ideas or information would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Jade?
May I ask where you got it?
that might help identify it.

If you google your plate image. It comes up as Jade, Korean or Chinese

"Jade is very hard and you can't scratch it with a needle. By the way, is Korean or Chinese jade valuable?"
