This one has me puzzled. It's about 5/8ths of a inch(16mm) in diameter, about the same size as a half dime, and appears to be a hammered bronze coin. The obverse has a bust and the letters I can read seem to say IOAN... behind the head and perhaps CAE REX on the face side. As you can see it's not very well centered and if there's a date below the bust it's off the side. The reverse seems to say OLIMAGD(then a figure that seems to be a fox head or horned animal) then perhaps UC...
The provenance of the site offers no clues. From the number of one of a kind foreign coins we found, it looks like Junior got hold of his dad's coin collection and was playing with them. If I can get this ID'd, I have a feeling it'll be my oldest coin find to date.
I should add the it's almost thin enough to shave with.

I should look on Ebay before I post. I just found what appears to be a match, a 1661 bronze solidus of John Casimer of Poland. Sorry for the premature post guys.
