I used to frequent a place in Hamilton (by the RxR tracks) called Spatz's Showbar--in the Bo Diddley generation while I was in school in Oxford. Great Memories.

I believe the place burned down many years ago, but back in the day, it was were you went to hear R&B and R&R, drink beer, get into fights, find a date, etc. But it was on 'the other side of the tracks' so one always had to be careful.
