Found a cup that doesnt really seem to be silver, but had this hallmark on it, so for a dollar i took a chance. Anyone recognize it. It says "Am 0900" im assuming it means 90%, but am guessing its probably just a clever way to stamp a plated item.

"Colombian silversmiths use this shield device (the cartouche for the initials) and they write the purity of the silver as "0,900" which is how it is written on yours."

Cleaned it up. I tested it and it and acid turns into a brownish color, is that what 900 is supposed to turn?

If you have 18k gold acid, test it with that. See if it turns a bluish white.
