This 1832 1/2 dime was a choppy signal with several square nails among it. After pulling several nails out and it was all but dark. I flopped the plug back in the hole and decided to run my ATP back over it . This time loud and clear silver. WTG that is stunning!

Man, that's fantastic. I'd be tickled silly to pull that out of the dirt.

That is a very low mintage beautiful coin you found there. Great find, great save. Your site is a very good site, keep hitting it, I'm sure there is much more there.
Congrats!
Here is a link to your coin, telling about different varieties, values and history of your coin.

All the goodies I posted last night have came from different spots. We've never sifted but we swing like mad dogs. We've only been dig n for two years and have been very successful . My buddy and I have jars full of bullets, buttons, and brass thingies. He's been just as lucky as I .

H i ,
I noticed yesterday you posted 9 threads in 5 minutes . If I was to guess :icon_scratch:
it would appear that you are not familiar with each forum and why it exists .
2014 Finds on home page may be a nice place for all your pics on One page . Even Best finds forum . Just sayin' , check it out and see what you think .

Welcome and Great stuff you and your digger partner found !

I downloaded the mobile app and was finally able to post pics so kinda had fun with it.

sweet find. I'd love to dig one of those

Excellent find! What does a half dime ring up as on the AT Pro?

At first it was choppy with some square nails mixed in. After removing the nails I flopped the plug back thinking the choppy signal was just the nails. But rechecked and boom nice clear 80.
