Searched an old house site today, very trashy but this popped out. Hopefully the other half is in there somewhere.

If it's never been detected I'd say it has to be there!!!! Get every piece of trash out and reunite the pieces!!!

Unfortunately the property owner told me a couple guys detected it about nine years ago. But from the number of decent readings I’m finding, it must not have been hit hard. I think if one of them found the other half, they would have kept at it until this half was found.

If they didn't get it already, it's most likely still there. My buddy Darryl found half of one on a day we were out. He kept circling and circling and about 30 minutes comes running down the hill to show me - he had both pieces. Keep looking.

I had to leave about 20 minutes after I found it Smokey, so I will definitely get back there and give it a good slow search. I’m also hoping this spot will give up a few Confederate items as well, time will tell I guess.

Confederate would be sweet. I have only been to six sites that gave up Confederate items. Actually, seven, but only my digging buddy got anything there.
