Half moon with Man and Woman??

Any idea? found here in Germany where i am stationed. Seems hand made, uneven sides, fairly heavy, Man on one side/woman on the other. i have no clue

Looks hand made to me also. Could be just one of the many forms of trench art :dontknow:.. WWI era is my take on it. Measurements may help in your question. But I'm thinking 1.5 to 2.0 inches long judging by my knowledge of paper towel pattens :)

I just thought it looked different on each side. One looked more feminine. Maybe just uneven work. Thanks for the replies :)

I'd add only that if searching for an exact match online "crescent moon" is the common description (I guess it is crescent if the face is subtracted).

Hello. Is there any residual trace of solder or brazing on the points which might indicate it was a handle to a cup or candlestick?
