Went out of town today to pickup a soda cooler for my butcher shop and the house ended up being old. Had the detector along and owner said "30minutes then I have to leave". Almost immediately I had a great signal on the ctx and 6inches down I got a 1924 merc, cat charm, sterling ring in same hole. Followed up with a 57 wheat, some old buttons and some clad. Great results, got the cooler for less and came home with double silver :)

That was one Sweet 1/2 hour!!

It really pays to keep your detector at the ready! Congrats!

Thanks all! Yes my detector is always in the truck with me just in case. I've had a few impromptu hunts over the years and they have often Paid off more than planned hunts!

All this while your "working" now that's a job to love!
Great silver haul! Congrats!

Must be very fertile ground, un-hunted, and filled with many artifacts!
You made the most out of the half hour that's for sure!
