half dollar error coins

I know that some people here look for and collect errors such as double dies and weak strikes.has anyone ever found a half struck on a wrong blank (planchete)?
I know that I always dreamed about finding the nearly mythical '71 or '77 struck on silver.
a few months ago I thought that dream was realised when I found a 1974 kennedy with a silver rim.
as I posted a couple weeks ago I eventually sent this coin into ANACS for grading and it came back as being a half dollar coin struck on a Taiwan $5 planchete.
After some reaserch it seems that wrong planchete errors are rather rare in the world of error collectors and can be quite valuable.
has anyone here found anything similar or any other cool and unusual errors?

I have found blanks (Cents), clips (Nickels, halves), and Lamination errors but nothing as cool as a wrong planchet error. Every now and then I hear a different sound when I drop the coins in the bag and I know it is not a 40% sound or the hollow sound the magic coins make. I am going to have to bring the scale out next time.
