A couple of weeks ago me and Fingergrime
was at a spot that he found on an old map
here in Shelby County and right off the bat
I had a great quarter signal and it turned out to
be a 1907 O Barber quarter in beautiful shape,
then not more than 10 feet away I got a dime
signal at about 6 inches, I started digging away
and just couldnt find the target, so i ran my Ace
over a lump of dirt and thats where the little
sucker had gone to.
I reached down and saw it was silver and without
looking at it handed it to Aaron and he said its a
seated dime, but after another look we both said
its a seated half dime, my first one ever.
Not in great shape, but it is a 1842 and im happy .
First pic is the Barber quarter, second is the front of
the half dime and the third is the back of the half dime
