Been hunting all my recently discovered field sites this weekend trying to pick out any leftovers. Not much luck since the half real last week but tonight got over one of my favorite coins to find. A nice little 1845 Seated Half Dime. Lucky to get one of these a year

Awesome!!! Early one!!! Congrats!!!

Congrats on your finds
Hope your luck doesn't run out

The half dime find at 6" or greater is the real mark of a good machine. I've found 1 over the last 3 years and it was the faintest whisper in Deus Fast. * mine was worn thin and no date. Had I not been at an old school site I would have probably skipped it. Great Find! I actually took my Legend to this same site yesterday to see if I could find any targets the ORX missed. I missed a few shotgun shells and a couple really small caliber bullets. I'd say this is more user fault than machine.

Found this with my ORX. Really like it for $599 with pinpointer

That is one pretty half-dime, and that Indian ain't too shabby either.

The half dime, found my one & only this month, 1848 with a hole in it, what a thrill that was, at least when my brain realized what my eyes were looking at. Great find there Toasted.

Yep I love the ORX. It's the machine I now measure all other machines against at that price point. Just got the legend and have only used it a couple of times. It is heavier and not balanced as well by comparison. Time will tell how it compares to the ORX but I will say that the VDI in M2 on the Legend is very stable on coin targets.

My only complaint with the ORX is volume control on the external speaker and iron audio volume control. There is also no notching or tone breaks which would be an added bonus. I opted not to buy a DII and I may regret that decision but couldn't justify the money right now.

Great work nabbing that little beauty! The 65 Indian has a ton of detail as well- very nice finds!
