Went back to the farm that we have been digging on for a while now. So far including these coins we have dug 20 copper coins of various varieties, brittish and American, And a trime.

These 2 are in nice condition given the year. 1803, and 1804, along with several other items. This farm has 4 homesites on it, 2 still standing and being lived in and 2 that are long gone. The one we are working on is nothing more that a 20 ft x 20 ft mound in the corner of the field. We are slowly digging and detecting this mound and have done very good with the coins and relics, and we are only half done! My buddy also found 2 draped bust large cents today, this makes 13 coppers and a trime, in this cellar hole.

Nice job on the 2 Half cents ! Those are a tough coin where I'm at. I've only found 1 in 35 years.

you did very good :)
Thanks for sharing

Great detail on those coins! That site seems like a MDers dream (mine, anyway)! So many old coins and apparently you are the first to detect it.

Actually we aren't the first to detect there! I would love to see the items and coins that were found before us!!
