After getting my errands done for the day I packed up and went to the big barn.I didn't make it out to the barn but I hunted around the house area. I can not believe all the iron in the ground there...not to mention that nasty ole tin! It was one of the most difficult hunts I have been on and the 'keeper' finds were hard to come by.
I had pockets full of stuff and left a couple of piles of finds at various places...horse shoes, nails, washers and other unknown stuff but here are the select few that I kept
First keeper.... 1954 Wheat......next regular penny 1965....MY VERY FIRST OLD KEY ...another reed....a snap with a 'W" on it...or a 'M' if you turn it upside down ...a buckle...another TAX token and of course bullets.
I had lots of fun but wow am I tired!
