had to get out the house Before I'd have gone Postal

Tuff day today sitting here at home,
So I threw my Detector in the car & headed out.

First stop was a house in Lamberton I always Rubberneck down the narrow dirt road to the tiny town
when I go to the Store & see this Empty house. built 1800

today I decided to stop.
nobody around but they keep the lawn mowed so it's only a matter of timing.
across the road in the woods

Cement so not as Old but Interesting Foundation.

As I as leaving there

this is the 4th Fawn I spotted this month. The deer population must be increasing

Next stop was a Yard sale where I found my New Detecting Hat :laughing7:

Wasn't happy with the Price $2.00 but a Rare find

from there I drove past the Underground Railroad Home that just sold last Tuesday

and there was a truck in the yard.
so I did a U'eee and went back.
new owner was my next door Neighbor in 2002 :laughing7:
He is fixing it up to flip. So I gave him my Card & he promised to ask his Dad (the other Half of the Restoration team.

While there he showed me where the underground tunnel from the Former Barn to the House was.

finally I reached My hunting spot,

I don't see any spots on the deer...ones with spots are...MMMM good.:laughing7:

Yea the whole front half was spotted.
I haven't tasted Fawn Yet but, That Doesn't mean I won't.
if one runs out in front of me it's dinner

That was a mighty fine gettin out.
Here's hopin your next escape can rival or exceed it.
The 1800's house is empty. What a shame.
Houses usually do better with a door swung regular..

Loved the tour Jeff and underground tunnel story. I only wish you had your nephew with you so that he can learn some more from you. Looks like some interesting possibilities.

Some days I go out to detect and spend more time driving, scouting for sites than I do detecting. Those days are very good for me. Get out and away from everyone (to include my significant other). I have learned more about this area since I have taken many back roads looking for promising sites and permissions.

Oh wow, could you possibly get pictures of the tunnel? I know you'd need a light, but that would be so cool!

I'll try if I get the call

I spend a lot of time/gas scouting too. I have always just gotten out and driven though. I like seeing new things/places.
Jeff, I really like both the old abandoned house and the UR house your old neighbor bought. Good luck getting permission.

So far all they are doing at the Underground railroad site,
is keeping the grass mowed. would be a perfect time.
But :dontknow:
only excuses I can come up with are no Interest in their part,
or maybe they feel the possible Relics in the ground,
will help their Flip Price :dontknow:
Or they are waiting to get the title. So far it is not listed as Transferred
at the court house yet.
