I went out in my back yard this morning & the first & only 1/2 way promising tone I dug it. 3" down it turned out to be my first ring with this detector.
Not sure what it's made of, it has good weight (2.6gms) for its size as it's pretty small (about the size of a dime), looks kind of like junk but it's not magnetic, possibly silver plated something? Hit in at between 50 & 60 VDI on my MTX. The edges of the top side around the yellow/orange stones looks just like the side of a dime or quarter. Almost like it was made out of an old coin but then again maybe not. There is a chip in the metal, the inside is an alloy type of metal like raw silver so maybe it is silver or maybe nickel or possibly pewter?
