So anyways....I have not hunted in a week or so since I went up to my grandma's beach. Well I finally decided that I needed time to relax and get out instead of sitting inside and watching TV. I got up at 5:00am this morning and headed out to a local park in my neighboorhood. I figured that I could hunt this park without wasting a lot of gas. It was a fast two hours that went by nicely. Got more used to my Minelab Explorer SE. Noticed that quaters came up as fer 0 and cond 24-30. Which I thought was odd. But that is how I dug the 2 quarters.

I mostly hunted in the play area and some in the grass. I did not go in the grass much as I think I am still not ready for the grass. Anyways the sky was clear and sunny but clouds were starting to form. The Caretakers of the park started to come about 7:30 so I decided that I would head out. A two hour hunt was really relaxing.

Todays Finds:

2 quarters
8 pennies
1 little bell
and Trash

Thanks for reading!!! Hope you all got out and hunted too!

It's amazing how a small bit of change can make a person's day. I spend about $7.00 to go to the local park and if I find a penny I feel good.

My wife and I are going out this afternoon to check out a CW campsite. I found an OLD lock up there the other day. Very nice piece for my collection.

Glad ya enjoyed yourself. I am still in Oklahoma on my road trip, and really missin the parks in Washington. The ground is 10 times tougher to dig down here. Should be home in about a week or so, and can't wait to hit my local digs. I figure they should have lots of new stuff by now. Congrats again on a great day hunting.
