Ok, solution, some kosher salt with some fresh squeezed, lemon juice and warm water

Most everything out of salt is all ready toast! Almost 😅

Make sure you connect the negative (-) clip to the silver (precious metal) and the positive (+) clip to the sacrificial stainless steel electrode (I use a SS spoon). If you reverse the clips you will deposit not remove the "crust" on the precious metal object.
