That's a great story!

A couple years ago somebody posted on Treasurenet that they had found a considerable size lump of ambergris on the beach (Hawaii, I think.) I was surprised there were several T-net members who knew quite a lot about it and the laws regarding selling it. They cautioned the guy but gave him some potential ways to sell it. I don't think he ever came back to post the outcome.
