✅ SOLVED Gun Part? Found On Old Farm Land

Hi all,

Found this today in a yard. The land around it used to be a farm. I thought it was part of a gun sight but I really have no clue what it is. Any help appreciated!

Looks more like a gate swivel lock latch than a gun part...
