Hey gang,
Took a trip up to Mt Baldy and on my way back down I decided to take some shots of the stream. I started on one side and after climbing to the other ( wanted to check on some " tailings " on the other side ) I came within 15 yards of these....

That is cool as heck. A lot of people I know think I'm nuts because I'll stop what I'm doing to watch a wild animal.

Hi vayank54,
There are people ( like myself ), who have gone YEARS before they have seen them in the wild.... and not a zoo or wildlife park... It was a GREAT day !!!!

PLL

I can imagine it was. One of the coolest things I ever saw was one day when I was detecting. I kept thinking that I saw something white out of the corner of my eye. Usually when I was digging a signal. I was digging a signal and looked up and about 10 feet from me was a small albino deer. It was completely white except for a half dollar sized black spot on it's back. It followed me around the rest of the day but would never get closer than about 10 feet. I always thought that was kind of cool and wish I had a camera.

For a minute there I thought you'd actually found something special...

Just kidding...the pictures are outstanding...

Thanks.

Nice find PLL,
I drove over a rise a few years ago north of Gerlach and happened upon a small herd of antelope. I am still waiting for that special day to see some big horn out in the wild.

Congrats

You've got potential postcard material there. I would search out the publishers.

Also,

Send a PM to Gollum. He'll be jealous. Cptbil, too.
They might not visit this thread.

PLL...I did some Googling. Why not share these with the rest of the world?

The place to show these is http://www.canstockphoto.com/register.php?r=38344,
most of which are not for royalties for use by others but who knows.

I looked at the bighorn photos there now and your are as good or better...more natural.

Any one on T-Net with shareable photos may want to visit this spot.

http://www.morguefile.com/ is another great place to share photos with the world. I got carried away looking at the pics one day and found I spent the better part of the day there.

Ah, the endangered Nelson's Bighorn. They are in extreme danger of becoming extinct. They are very susceptible to disease, and the Mt. Lion's are raising havoc on them.
I spent a lot of time in the areas they have been reintroduced trying to help them get a population hold.Great pics!
