GTI 2000 problem

I recently dusted off the GTI 2000. I set it back to factory specs but now I get the backround hum. Duh, I forgot how to set the hum to zero. Anybody help me out? TTC

I don't have the 2000 but I swing a 2500 they should be the same. just go to the menu and scroll to threshold and adjust it lower try that and see if that don't help.

Terry it works just like the GTI 1500 just scroll thru the MENU to the Threshold
and use the PLUS or MINUS to raise or lower it.

Hey Terry, I had recently gotten a GTI 2000 that was upgraded to a 2500 minus the manual ground balance and backlight I think, but anyway I contacted Garrett and asked if they would send me a hard copy of the GTI2500 manual that fits in your pocket and they did it fast and free of charge. Look at their web site and call them plus they have it so you can download a copy of older manuals also. Good luck, Metalfoot.
