Last night, while hunting in a local park with both of my detectors in plain view on the ground next to me, I was on my knees probing the dirt with my headlamp on when a man approached me and asked if I was digging for grubs. I couldn't resist telling him that indeed I was, and those machines lying on the ground were grub detectors. ::) Now, why would anyone want to collect grubs anyhow????

This brings me to a question: What's the dumbest question you've ever heard while swinging a coil?

Grubs are terrific bait. They are also edible for survival purposes but are rarely eaten within the city limits. :D

They do look appetizing! ;D

I guess the funniest question I have been asked is by a little boy.
I had my sunglasses on and was swinging my sniper coil near a playground and the little boy walked up to me , looked at me for
a minute and then asked if I was blind :)
