Just thought I'd take a quick pic of my finds from the property my digging buddy HomeGuardDan and I have been hunting recently. This does not include any pottery, glass or iron finds. We've probably got 5-6 hunts under our belts here, but just about every one has been for only a half day due to our schedules, the weather, etc. This has been a super fun site to hunt, and I don't think we're finished with her just yet as some prime looking spots remain to be checked out. Dan - I don't know if you have time to take a quick shot of your collective finds before you head out, but I think most will agree that you're pile is probably a bit larger than mine. Hope we can add to the artifact collection again soon.

Nice finds Bill! You guys are really nailing it! I need to do some good relic hunting one of these days!

Good pic Bill - I will see what I can do. I need to run a few errands and then pack. Going to try and get on the road earlier to beat this weather.

Good lord, nice!!! I love it!!

Very impressive. That looks like my entire collection of colonial finds from the past two years. I need to move closer to some history. I don't know if you saw my reply on Dan's thread about him finding more than you on recent hunts. We'll disregard that idea - looks like you are definitely holding your own. Looking forward to more posts of you and Dan's finds.

Very good job Bill looks like you have a real good place to go hunting the weather will be starting to get better soon so you can get in longer hunts and HH

Yep, but in about a month planting will begin and we'll be shutdown until the fall.

Nice! Now your filling boxes!

looks like a lot of fun...crap load of targets to dig and good targets at that..makes for lotsa fun !!!

CONGRATS AND GL with the rest of the site !!

Great finds Bill. You guys have been able to hunt a lot this winter. I hope you can keep it up. HH, Q.

Actually my hunting time is way down this season Quindy due mostly to the weather as well as some other issues. My weekday hunting has been down to almost nothing compared to the last couple of years when I was getting out 3-4 times a week. And my pit digging has been very minimal after being involved in 6-8 major digs last year. And with our season almost its time to start turning my attention to getting ready for next fall. Already have a list going.

That's a rich hunting ground Bill, really nice to have mulitple hot spots in the same general area.

I guess if you only got a month left, you'd better get the digging in while you can.

Spring is slooow to come here this year, barely above freezing for two weeks to come yet, but I will be hitting the shore myself in a couple of days, just for some parctice fun, with a new finder.

That is some serious Colonial nectar right there Bill:thumbsup:

The snow is just about gone and i am getting ready to hit some cellars hard..

wow i don't even know what to really say but congrats on all the finds i'm jealous.
