good luck on the island hunt..I live right near Galveston..Perhaps sometime we can hook up, and go detect the old fort on the far west end of the Island..I have found a few old military "blanks" shell down there...Let us know how it goes....Tom

I would have to assume that the control box is water proof?

Was not aware of that. Kept waiting for the next wave to wash over the control box.
