Found this not far from my 1771 half pence. Been soaking it in white vinegar since it was pretty much a blob of rust. Appears to be the internal part of some sort of grinder. It has three square plates mounted on a square tube with a bottom fin inserted through the tube to act as a keeper. Anyone recognize what this may have been from?
