I have searched for treasure several times including a stint on the Superstition Mountains. I am especially interested in Confederate Army hidden coinage and finding hoards of: (1) pre-1965 silver coins (2) caches of arms, ammunition and other gear hidden by men who are now dead. However, I am most enthusiastic and dedicated to searching for Knights of the Golden Circle and JJ, treasures.
I have CSA ancestors , one of whom died on combat, as part of Captain Quantrill's organization. I am proud of that Confederate hero and fly the stars and bars.
I am a combat veteran and I have served in several armies. As a long time survivalist, I am drawn to the mountains and forests. However, I can survive in the desert, although I am no longer interested in desert expeditions. I know how to pack a burro or mule (a little rusty though) and I can find water. In addition, I am a student of terrain and the ways of those long dead treasure hoarders and their caches;but I am open to learning so much more.
I invest all of my extra money in prospecting expeditions, and I prefer to be part of a group, operating under the leadership of a person more knowledgeable than me. I have an old metal detector.
I have few books on treasure hunting and no budget for purchasing more. That is why I am keenly interested any treasure hunting ebooks, free on the internet.
I am open, friendly and seek partners in inexpensive treasure hunts in the southeast area.
