Greetings from the Gold Country in Northern CA

I might have posted my intro in an older thread, so here's a recap!

Just recently purchased a used BH QDII off eBay and I'm looking forward to the hunt! I'm starting off in the back yard of my 1930s house here in Grass Valley. Haven't had too much time to test out the MD, but I've found my first pull tab and an old door knob of some sort . My next hunting spot will be some family property in Blue Canyon where there is a late 1800s hotel foundation and apparently remnants off an old town/train stop which hosted ~200 or so citizens. Looking forward to it! I've been stacking silver for the past year and I can't wait to find my first silver out if the ground rather than eBay. Glad to be apart of the community!

Thanks everyone! I'll be sure to post pictures of the Blue Canyon hunt. As far as I know, the land is still pretty virgin. My uncle who owns the place hasn't done any detecting the 20+ years they've lived there. I guess they use to have some guys come out bottle hunting near an old dumping site, but that's about it. Hopefully I can earn my way up to the Ace 250.... I watched videos of the pin pointing feature and now I'm lusting for it.
