Greetings from Oregon's Outback!
I've been learning the ropes for about 8 months now. Sometimes it's tough when you are running solo... I've had an interest in detecting for quite awhile, but finally took the plunge last year. (thanks to a gentle nudge from a friend, LOL)
I have an ACE 350 that has me hooked. I'm hoping to upgrade to another level later this spring, and the exTerra 405 seems like a cadidate that is in my price range that allows ground balance and a whole new level of information for me to absorb. Any feedback is welcome!
I'm most interested in Relic Hunting, but I suppose if I stumble accross the occasional gold or silver I'll keep it...
Like most of you, I don't get nearly as much time as I would like to go play. My target areas to explore this season are mostly on the desert. Old homestead and military sites, so if there are any detectorists in Southern Oregon up for some weekend desert trips, hit me up!
