All Treasure Hunting
Hello everyone. I am 49yrs old, a Gulf War Veteran (USN), and I caught the detecting bug around 1995 shortly after getting out of the service. My first detector was a Bounty Hunter. Nothing fancy, but I took it to a nearby school and managed to pull out a 1944 Mercury Dime. Having never seen one before, and seeing the winged cap, I thought I had found some foreign coin. After researching what I had found, I was hooked. I did quite a bit of detecting up until around 2005 when other life priorities took over. I did keep detecting but it was very sporadically. Well, I now got the bug again so I have committed to getting out more this year and making some good finds to hopefully share with you all. To get me going, I recently purchased a CTX 3030, took it out for a couple hours and felt completely overwhelmed with all the functions. Way more than I bargained for. So I ended up also buying an Equinox 800. Much more my speed. I guess I just like things simple. So I will probably try and sell the CTX3030. What do I need to do to sell something on here?

Thank you all for the welcome. Treasure_Hunter, yes I was able to get the Veteran discount. Unfortunately I could only get it on one of the detectors. but hey, i'm not complaining. I appreciate that they do it at all. really cool of them. I will apply for a Charter membership soon so I can post stuff for sale. Thanks.
