That is awesome piece. Do you think the lithic is obsidian?
I have some green obsidian found in southern Nev. area.

Wow! Almost looks like an effigy. The material reminds me of common opal. Here's a Folsom I made from WA state opal. Gary

It is that type of material but far from your home Dennis. I have only found a few pieces of it ever and only in Paleo areas. One piece I have tells me it is from small cobbles. Here is another Paleo Tool/Graver from the same material found about 75 miles away from the Crescent.Paleo Graver.jpg

This point is from our place it comes in different shades of green .
