I found this at a farm that dates back to the 1700s the owner of the farm said his dad found a similar one years back n they believe it's a tool to help close the coat to assist in buttoning it and for tying shoes/boots (colonial days) it's round like a circle on one end and beveled then at opposite end is bent like a tool to grab something any one recognize of ever find one or know anything about it? Any help appreciated image.webp. It's the green colored metal object in the middle
 

Thanks for the info n it does look like the wagon neck yoke I'm gonna get a better photo the landowner wanted to hold onto it he is into history n thought it was the coolest find of the day
