Found this on Mick's small pasture field (grass not too long at moment so will have to make a day of it shortly).
I think its a 'Hair Slide' or some other decorative jewellery.
Pretty little thing - 63mm x 43mm. 5 green stones - probably glass rather than emeralds!
Reverse shows little clues to how it was attached.
Anyone recognise the design / era ?
In silhouette it reminds us of the Titanic's decorative windows.

Also found George III halfpenny 1770/75 - very smooth :(

Interesting piece! Maybe a part of a book cover from the 1800s, looks religious and is just a guess. HH, Mike
