Today I got out of work early and on the the way home ended up stopping at a old field that used to be a old gun club then a school and now just a field. I got a ton of old stamps dating from the 1800s and early 1900s. I need help IDing the iron triangle and what I think is a make up case or photo holder. Got some clad and a sweet merc it was on edge about 7 to 8 inches down and nicked it. Got some clad as well .

Great finds, I know what that triangle thing is, just can't think of it now, right on the tip of my tongue. The makeup case is really an old style flip phone, c- 1920's they flipped to the side, the compartment held the battery, surprised the battery wasn't in there still? lol

Great pix, have you compared that new pinpointer next to a Garrett, side by side. I'd be real interested in how that is? Nice saves, those compacts are cool, I like finding them too. Pretty Merc, I could not see where you said you nicked it, you sure, looks good to me!
