Well the ground finally thawed out enough to dig here in So ILL. So My son (corinth 1812), His girlfriend and I went out for an afternoon hunt. We went to an old country church I used to attend when I was in high school. Didn't have much luck in the grass so I went to the gravel parking lot. after about 10min I found a 1941 s Merc about 5in down, then about 10 min later found a 1946d Washington Quarter, then about 30min later I got another Merc this time a well worn 1919. turned out to be a great start to a new year.

Congrats on a 3 silver day!
I was hoping to get out this weekend myself, but there's still too much snow for me. Maybe next week. ???

That is a great start for 2010. I hope the rest of the year is as good. Congrats.
