I was digging a old house site & found a great seal button .It is abt 1.125 diameter & has a back mark "chas Fisher spg co New York". I did a google search & had no luck any I formation on this maker. Just looking for a time frame of manufacturing & possible time of use. I will post a picture when I get cleaned a little better. I don't think there will be any gilt left if it every had any.The loop that attaches the button to the coat is still in place & not bent, the is slightly bent .

These are World War 1 general service buttons... City Manufacturing Corporation New York.
I'm no button expert but looking at the way your button is manufactured I would say it is World War 1 or later
