Hey everyone, Thought Id share a few photos off my phone. Yeah I know they suck but they get it done I think. I usually take more time but had these on the desk top and figured Id share the past few weeks.

Ive been hunting a old site and came across a decent old home site back in the woods off a nice old creek. It started with a braided hair LC on a old path leading to the house. I was out of time that day but told my partner I found a nice 1850 or later home site. Well I returned and hit a hot spot it was small but loaded with +85 left and right.

Unfortunately the site dried up on me really quick. After about 5 hrs I had the place almost clean. I thought maybe it was hunted but I think it was just a small site but had some really nice silverware including a 1870 tiffany and co sterling spoon. Found two there at the same site. They are hard to find.

In almost 20 yrs these are only like number 5 and 6 maybe. You had to have some money to have some stuff like this. I love the sterling buckle. Looks victorian. Also got a first in almost 20 yrs of hunting a love token charm. It is so thin and delicate but another great find. I was hoping maybe more are there.

I am shooting for 200 silvers this yr to try and keep trac with all the minelab hunters in my neck of the woods lol. But we'll see. I got 16 to start.

Thanks for looking

Jeremy

Awesome silver can we see a close up of the silver coins?

Boy you really racked up on the silver.nice.looks like you dug up their safety deposit box lol.....congrats buddy

jerV3,

You took the words right out of my head, to have Tiffany Spoons and silver buckles they had money. I would think the spot would be worthwhile going back to for a walk around to just see what you see. Old fence posts, sunken spots in the ground, odd lumps on horizontal tree branches (where a string or wire was wrapped to make a spot underneath the limb) and just any and all oddity's. Seems like there ought to be something else there! Best of success..............63bkpkr

WOW Jeremy, That's what it's all about right there! Finding the up close and personal items from the past really is the Fix that keeps me addicted to this sport. That's some beautiful stuff you have. The soil sure is kind where your hunting. Nothing like the low land here.

Awsome finds!

Absolutely KILLER, Beautiful silver finds!!!

Thanks for the replies guys. Like I said sorry about the photos. I took them with my phone to save time. I didn't find any great old coins. All common silvers merc rosies a woreout 1918 walker. Got a toasted LC , indians etc.

I didn't have my unit it was being serviced at whites. I used a dfx and I put my 10X12 SEF coil on it and it ran great with sence at 80. The dfx is a damn good unit. I got rid of mine and this was my first time running one in 3 yrs so it was a feild test and it did well. I borrowed the unit from my brother until my spectra came back. I let my partner use the se.

I think more is at the site. Leaving today my partner said up on the bluff that he saw 5 more foundations lined up and I walked right by them. They hide them things so good here in the NE. I have been almost standing on a site and not even know.

Cant wait to get back out but winter is coming in again. Oh well loved the 60 degree weather for 2 days.

HH Jer

Dang, Jer! You still got that mojo going! Love all that silver!
WTG! Nana :hello:

Wow that's an awesome hunt, i wish i could stumble upon home site's like that! Way to go on all the SILVER!!!!

Splendid finds! The silver spoons and ornate buckle are the most BEAUTIFUL I've seen on t-net and in such perfect condition, WOW! Your phone photos are fine -- crisp & clear! And your modesty regarding this whole batch of great stuff is delightful! Keep having a blast! Andi

Thanks alot everyone, Lol Nana yeah I guess I still do have the touch. Getting tough to make finds but they are still out there. Each yr I say to myself no way Im gonna find a 100 silvers and I seem to be able to do it.

Time is everything anymore. I wish I had 8 hrs a day to go out and hunt. I am probably speaking for most of us. Just trying to have fun and save some history while Im doing so.

Yeah that buckle and spoons were really some nice relics. These people must have had some money. No old coins at the site though other than some wheats and tokens. Got on LC there. They must have kept there coins held tight.

Im gonna go back and hit the area again. I know there is something left up there.

HH Jer

wow!! beautiful stuff. I'd hit that spot again right after a heavy rain...maybe wet ground will bring up some more finds! congrats big time!

Jeremy, looks like you made the most of the few mild days we have had around here so far this year. Keep up the good digs!

That spoon is awesome.

Holy cow! Those are some awesome finds. I am in the SC low country, so we don't have many stone foundations here. That is something that I am struggling with trying to find old homesteads. What are the signs you look for to find them?

Hope the weather warms for you again soon!

Those are really nice finds. I really like the Tiffany Silver spoon and the silver buckle.

Awesome buckle and spoon, congrats!
