Got out for a hunt after Church with Jimmy D.. The first house We scored a Wheat a piece at. The next house I got a Silver Roosevelt about 8” deep under a big root.
We headed to the back Yard. Got a few Wheats and found a Cool token with a swastika on one side. I’ll ID it after I clean it.
We swapped sides as We’ve been doing on Our hunts once We hunted. We’ve been finding coins once in awhile that We miss.
As I was hunting his side he found a Wheat I had missed. A little further down and I got a decent signal pretty deep that registered between a Wheat and a Silver Dime.
I had him come over and listen to it and he couldn’t hear it on the Equinox. I powered it off and back on and checked the settings that I used to use, and then it picked it up. Very odd! Since he was there with his shovel I had him dig it up , and it was a Barber Quarter that looked to have been in a fire and part of it melted away. Sweet!! I like Barber Quarters. He was a little bummed he didn’t hit it as I can understand.
We left there and headed to a really big old house that was built in the late 1800’s. It had been hunted, but never hunted out.
During the hunt there Jimmy came across a Merc. Next I found an old handle and piece that goes with it that looks to be Silver. I’ll check it later. It’s not Silver. Next I found a 1909 Indian.
The Indian doesn’t have an S. It’s a Philadelphia Mint.

What a great day of digging. Congratulations

Congratulations on the beautiful recoveries
Great detail along with great teamwork.

Some nice recoveries, well done.
Looks like the backside of the tag was a tad hot as well.
What machine were you using?

I have a couple coin like tokens. They look a bit like the German Swastika. I think mine are a gool luck boy dcouts type colin dated 1913 both of mine were the same date. It still is a neat find :)
