Here is a great Hale, 55 HP, model 250 B high Pressure fire pump
that can be ideal for a Venturi Dredge. This pump is made to withstand
the rigor of salt water application with an aluminum frame and has a brand
new power head. And, it comes with the U.S. Government Shop Manual!

Even better is there are two back up power heads also available!

It is gasoline 2 stroke Johnson powered and runs at 250 psi with a 2 inch outflow.
all that is left to do is to re-assemble the pump to the newly installed power head.

TAKE A LOOK....

Well folks somebody just made
a great score on this unit!!!

I did not put a high reserve and a guy got the
pump for only $ 100.00 !

This thing cost our government $11,000. grand!

But then again their the guys with the printing presses....

A little over 110 pounds. An easy two person pick
with the folding handles. It is all aluminum.

The guy who won the auction can melt it and get
almost all his money back!

His only issue is he has to attach and assemble
and seal the pump housing but I have the government
shop manual.

This pump kicks Asp. I am replacing it with two Yanmar diesel
pumps I also have

Well, One of my High Pressure Pumps
with a New Power Head has found a new home :headbang:

Good luck T-Net father & son team from the upper treasure coast!
You got one hell of a beginning to a 55 horsepower light weight
salt water resistant suction dredge!

and my wife is happy too! she got some of her garage back! :tongue3:

Good hunting!

Ebay can be dicey for selling items that cannot be shipped....

I recently bought an entire garage of tools (and the former owner was a 'tool guy'), toolboxes, power tools, specialty tools, etc, etc, etc, for $55 as a local pickup :icon_pirat:. Great for me, the seller was distraught. I have a few other interests that are outside of what can be shipped- there's ebay gold to be had in local pickup only items...
