Hey guys...I read here a lot, but don't post much, as I don't usually find much more than some common glassware and such at the local TS's. HOWEVER...

Out picking Saturday, we stumbled into a large, fancy Goodwill. Was looking at a couple of wood end tables to paint and do the "shabby chic" thing to, when I turned around and low and behold this little beauty was right behind me...didn't even see it at first! My jaw dropped and I just stared at my wife who did the same...date on the sticker was Friday. So, it had not been there for more than a day...and I'm surprised it made it that long.

Oh yeah, and that price sticker...$4.99

Mid-Century Danish Lounge Chair...excellent condition, original vinyl...a little wipe down with lemon oil and it goes into the antique booth tomorrow with a $270 price tag (which is probably low)...

Oh cool chair!
Growing up, my Dad smoked Raleigh cig's and my Mom bought 2 of those chairs with the coupons, that would come in every pack. Ours wasn't leather though, fabric, one brown, one orange.
I wouldn't know if they were the exact same, unless I seen it without the cushions. Even then..... idk.
Glad to know they're worth that much. Thanks and great score!

Yeah, thanks pal, for reminding me..... how far back...... :laughing7:

Somewhere in a drawer, in the china cabinet, and another house, where the chairs are, is a Raleigh Bel-Air coupon magazine, probably an S&H greenstamps magazine, too.
I used to peruse the goodies to have and even trips, they would have in those mag's.
My mom was a coupon freak, as much as Dad smoked! :laughing7:

One of my goals is to find something great that GW failed to either take home, flea market or on line auction.

Congratulations! How do you tell an original from a reproduction?

Great score. Super hot right now
