Nice old relics! :occasion14:

Very nice relics Thanks for sharing em!!!!!!

This buckle is very interesting... sure wish I knew which part of the country you're located in? :icon_scratch:

Your horse shoe looks to be for a horse on the roads, as opposed to a plow horse shoe.

These were found west of reno Nevada

Thanks for the follow up info on your finds.
I've never detected in NV, even though I've been in Las Vegas every January for for the past 20 years working a trade show.
I know your state has had a long and varied history.

"The Nevada 1861 territory boundary (in blue) has changed three times. In 1864 statehood shifted eastern border from 39th to 38th meridian, 1866 May 5; east border (in pink) moved eastward 53.3 mi, from 38th to 37th meridian, and 1867 January 18; south boundary (in yellow) moved from the 37th parallel north southward to the current boundary."

Went back to the same place today and found a mercury.

That splitting wedge brings back a lot of memories of busting my butt getting wood ready for winter.
