I didn’t think that it could get much better after finding the 1877 CC seated dime on Saturday. Sunday brought a 1946 Roosevelt dime which is always welcome, and then I found this beauty as the sun was setting.

The funny thing about this particular spot is that we only find the good stuff as we’re walking out of the woods.

One more thing, I would like to thank our veterans who fought hard so that we may enjoy this hobby as well as all other aspects of the American way of life.

Incredible, just when you think an area isn't going to produce anymore, Barber quarter! How did we all miss THAT one?! Well done sir.

It was on a steep hill, I came across it as I was headed up from the water. No skill involved, just luck.

Nice find. Always like to see those Barber Quarters come out of the dirt.
